Spanish Education Program for Kids - Domino Game

Twelve card stock Domino sets are included in the back of the Risas y Sonrisas Student Book.

There are 24 dominos in each set, designed to teach students vocabulary through simple matching games. 

The units included are:

  • Numbers
  • Body
  • Opposites
  • School
  • Verbs
  • Food
  • Farm Animals
  • House
  • Clothes
  • Places
  • Wild Animals
  • Occupations

The games are simple, but very effective. Students start with one domino. Then they look for the cartoon picture that matches the word on the first domino and connect the dominos. The student repeats the process for the second domino and the third. Finally, the student finds a fourth domino to connect the first and third dominos to complete a square. See the example below:

Students then start another square of four dominos until they have completed six squares.
