Music CD with Song Lyric Booklet
Includes 39 songs with catchy tunes designed to teach children Spanish vocabulary and phrases. Music is one of the most powerful tools for introducing, reinforcing, and accelerating the learning of a foreign language. These songs can also be rehearsed with the Sign and Sing DVD, the interactive CD-ROM line-by-line feature, or by looking at the pictures in the Student Book or Classroom Posters.
Students learn two languages at the same time by singing and signing the songs included in the Risas y Sonrisas Program. American Sign Language offers signs that relate easily to words. Children can connect words to hand signs and learn vocabulary faster. These songs can also be rehearsed with the Music CD, the interactive CD-ROM line-by-line feature, or by looking at the pictures in the Student Book or Classroom Posters.
Is an audiovisual, colorful presentation of vocabulary, simple grammar concepts and picture sentences to help children learn at their own pace. For each Vocabulary Unit there is a song with lyrics, pictures in the same order as the song, frequently used Q&A, and a Skit. A cultural point is presented at the end of each chapter. The Interactive CD-ROM is the voice of the book divided into five areas: Pronunciation, Songs, Vocabulary, Q&A, and Conjugations. Another way to reinforce at home what students learn in school. Includes 4 different copyrighted B&W workbooks with perforated sheets. One set is included for review; additional ones must be ordered separately for students. Each covers 2 of the 8 chapters in the Student Book. They include song lyrics, vocabulary lists, five different vocabulary activities, skits, and Q&A. Each one has 40 cognate pictures on the back cover.
164 Cognate Picture & Word Cards, 5 Folders and Audio CD's
Beautiful illustrations of words that have the same origin in Spanish and English, making them easy vocabulary words for young children to learn. They can also be used with older students to practice their pronunciation skills. The audio CD provides the proper pronunciation of these words, divided into 14 different categories. Advanced students can build sentences with them using their mini-conjugation cards or use them in their Q&A.
Can be used in the class for group activities, or at home to reinforce vocabulary, questions and answers and verb conjugations. The Domino is a simple matching game of pictures to words. These pictures are the same throughout the program. They can also be used as flashcards to play other games or form picture sentences in the present, past and future with the Mini Conjugation Cards. The Question and Answer Cards can be folded in half to practice conversation skills with the vocabulary learned in each unit.

The parents were also very impressed by the progress of the students! It is amazing the small amount of "prep time" necessary when using Risas y Sonrisas. While other programs "suggest" games, activities and visuals, your program DELIVERS these items within the program.
