Online Student Badges
Your students will now have the chance to earn online Badges based on their game scores. We believe this will add an extra layer of excitement to their learning journey and motivate them to play and practice outside of class. These Badges can also give teachers a quick benchmark read on each student’s proficiency.

Q&A Practice Game
Our new Q&A practice game lets students practice building complete sentences in the correct order one word at a time—similar to the Unscramble the Sentence Quiz question type. Students can choose Level 1 (with audio) or Level 2 (no audio).

Matching Flashcards Game Update
Students can now earn scores in the Matching Flashcards game just like in the Domino and Bubbles games. Level 1 lets students listen to the audio of a vocabulary word, then drag the word from the word bank to match the correct picture. Level 2 takes away the audio for a more difficult challenge. You can also use Practice Mode to introduce vocabulary as a class in exactly the same way as before.

Voice Record Quiz Question Type
We’ve made our Quiz builder even more powerful with a new question type: Voice Record. Assign your students a prompt and let them record themselves answering a question or pronouncing some vocabulary words. Can be seamlessly integrated into any existing or new quiz with all other question types (Matching, Multiple Choice, Short Answer, Unscramble the Sentence).

Improved platform stability and security
Standard maintenance and security upgrades ensure that the platform works better than ever with fewer hiccups and less down-time.

Other New Features from 2022-23
If you haven’t already, make sure to check out our other great features that were new from the 2022-2023 school year:

Comics: 9 all-new stories combining vocabulary and Q&A from the program in humorous and engaging ways. Video and script (with audio) included in Online Program.

Verb Conjugation Game: Practice conjugating verbs and building complete sentences in the past, present, and future tenses. Level 1 helps students learn the basics of verb conjugation by showing the verb endings on the bottom of the conjugation card and letting students choose from a word bank. Level 2 offers a real challenge by asking students to come up with the vocabulary word and correct verb ending all by themselves. For an extra challenge, choose the Mixed Tense activity, which randomly cycles between past, present, and future tenses.

Posters with audio: All digital posters in the program now include clickable audio to help you present new vocabulary more easily than ever.
